Leslie Attends Gulf-South Summit on Service Learning

Mary Leslie, Associate Professor in Education and Developmental Studies, attended the Gulf-South Summit on Service Learning and Civic Engagement through Higher Education at the Baton Rouge Hilton Hotel March 25 through the 27th. Sponsored by LSU's Center for Community Engagement, Learning, and Leadership, the Summit offered a variety of presentations and workshops by faculty from across the country who involve their students in service projects as part of their course work.

Angela Greaud, Holly Bell and Leslie also attended and presented at the National Association for the Education of Young Children conference in Dallas in November 2008.
